HELP BUILD A MUTUAL AID NETWORK FOR BLACK FAMILIES

When parents and caregivers are stable financially and well, children can thrive in school and beyond.

Right now, Black women and men lead in overall unemployment and our disproportionately displaced from federal government jobs, and many of our businesses are not able to expand due to resource constraints that are systemic and long-standing.

OUR ANSWER TO THAT IS TRIED AND TRUE:  MUTUAL AID BY US FOR US.

We are proud and honored to be a founding partner organization of Resilient Maryland - a mutual aid network designed by the community for the community across a range of basic needs:  food, healthcare, safety, employment, and Black-owned business growth.

Resilient Maryland offers rapid responses that are rooted in community and Black traditions of self-sufficiency and resilience.
